I'm a creative force who crafts stories that stick—whether through stunning visuals, immersive digital experiences, or strategic marketing content.

My journey started in Auckland with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, diving into film, installation, sound, painting, and performance. From there, I built a career blending artistry with real-world impact: producing high-stakes training videos for the New Zealand Defence Force (capturing helicopter ops at sea and in the air), leading digital campaigns for Tātaki Auckland Unlimited (including the lockdown hit "Papatūānuku is Breathing," which earned Gold at the 2021 PRINZ Awards and inspired global translations), and directing music videos, documentaries, and live installations that push creative boundaries.

In recent years, I've expanded into interactive media and virtual production, contributing to projects like Spirit of the North 2 at Infuse Studio—designing environments, directing cinematics, and producing social content that drives buzz. I've also taught Unreal Engine to filmmakers worldwide through Coloso courses, authored a book on virtual production (Starting Unreal Engine 5 for Filmmakers, Ruby Paper 2023), and freelanced on many projects from VR art installations to game trailers.

At my core, I'm about translating ideas into visuals that connect: optimizing brand narratives for consistency, crafting content that boosts engagement, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver polished results. My military background as a Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army honed my leadership and logistics skills, while coaching kids' basketball and teaching swimming keeps me grounded in mentorship and community.
