Role & Contribution
Social Media Content Producer - Defined and executed the content strategy across multiple channels (YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, X, Discord). Produced hero and shortform content to be scheduled and released with a global audience in mind.
Community Management - Developed engagement strategies to grow the audience base and manage community feedback.
Asset Management - Responsible for graphic design assets, seasonal banner updates, profile picture creation, and platform-specific formatting.

Goal & Challenge
The primary goal was to establish and maintain a consistent, high-quality digital presence for Spirit of the North 2. The challenge was managing the content pipeline across different platforms to maintain a cohesive voice and drive engagement with the community.

Process & Creative Strategy
The strategy focused on maximizing visibility through a structured content calendar and meticulous channel optimization.
Content Pipeline: A two-tiered approach was used: Long-Form Content (e.g., game cinematics, deep-dive trailers on YouTube) and Short-Form Engagement (e.g. community management, publishing updates, and real-time interaction on X and Discord).
Optimization: Content was strategically optimized for each platform, including setting up seasonal banners, profile pictures, and platform-specific graphic elements to ensure a professional and unified brand identity.
Analytics & Engagement: The process involved tracking community responses and utilizing the YouTube Studio backend to analyze performance, tailoring future content to highly engaged topics and maximizing organic reach.

Designing and setting up banners for the Turtle Island DLC. Different aspect ratios and compositions are needed for different platforms.

Scheduling content across different platforms using tools such as Buffer and Meta suite. Many social media platforms offer scheduling content via their own uploading systems but often there are limitations and quirks that don't allow for a smooth overall workflow.

Sometimes I end up making new scenes, sequences and even effects in the game engine for a social post idea.

Utilizing our social channels with various events and sales that the studio or other stakeholders want to post about.

This was a studio logo sequence I designed with After Effects. Animated night sky photo overlayed with procedurally generated aurora. The great thing about this kind of procedural effects is that you can tweak the settings to achieve a different look rather than being limited by a given photo or video.
